Shehu Sani reacts to attack on his constituency office

The lawmaker representing Kaduna Central senatorial district, Senator Shehu Sani has accused the camp of the Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai of having a hand in the attack at his constituency office located at Stadium Roundabout by constitution road, Kaduna.
In a statement made available to DAILY POST in Abuja on Saturday, he alleged that heavily-armed thugs unleashed terror on staff who were in a meeting at the office and also vandalised the office furniture.
“Few minutes ago, thugs came and unleashed terror on my Social media team who were meeting in the office. They vandalized the office in their violent act,” he said.
He accused political appointees of Governor El-Rufai,stressing that he has names of those behind the act.
“We have the lead information that Thugs were fully recruited and paid by political appointees of Governor Nasiru Elrufai.
“We also have the names of the political appointees and we have the names of those they are funding, but we have forwarded their details to DSS andPolice for investigation,” he said.
The statement also disclosed that an attempt to raze his family house located at Alkalawa road junction on Thursday was stalled by vigilant residents until the Police officers were deployed to the place.
Sani further claimed that the Governor of Kaduna State has resorted to the use of his desperate political appointees to attack him and his supporters after attempt to suspend him from the party failed, noting that El-Rufai would be held responsible if anything happens to him.
He however called on his supporters to be law abiding, adding that he can never be silenced.
“I wish to state categorically clear that I hold Governor Nasiru Elrufai personally responsible for whatever happens to me or any of my family members or supporters after the use of financial inducement on APC Excos in the state to suspend me which has failed,” he maintained.
